Overview
Deutsche Bank has set for itself ambitious goals in the areas of Sustainable Finance, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) Risk Mitigation as well as Corporate Sustainability. We are seeking an experienced Data/AI Engineer to join our Sustainability Technology team, with a focus on Google Cloud and Machine Learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our team's Data integrations on Google Cloud Platform, while also combining machine learning models and algorithms into our products. • Design, implement, and maintain our Sustainability products and Data on Google Cloud Platform, including GCP services such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Anthos etc.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using GCP services in developing and implementing data ingestion and transformation processes using tools like Composer, Apache Airflow, Dataflow and Pub/Sub
• Automate data processing tasks using scripting languages like Python.
• Collaborate with software developers to integrate machine learning models and algorithms into our products, using PyTorch, TensorFlow or other machine learning frameworks.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our products, using tools such as GitHub and GitHub actions.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code templates using Terraform.
• Work closely with other teams, such as software development, data science, and product management, to identify and prioritize infrastructure and machine learning requirements.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in Google Cloud Platform and machine learning and apply this knowledge to improve our products and processes. Skills You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
• At least 5 years of experience in a Data/AI role, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Experience on Vertex AI and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Strong proficiency in Python & Structured Query Language (SQL) for data manipulation and querying. Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Skills That Will Help You Excel
• Experience as a Data/AI Engineer with Proven expertise in designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines using GCP services or any equivalent cloud service.
• Experience with Vertex AI and machine learning models and algorithms using PyTorch, TensorFlow or any other machine learning frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core data services (GCS, Big Query, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, etc.)
• Strong proficiency in Python & Structured Query Language (SQL) for data management. Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and version control systems such as Git. Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $85,000 to $120,750. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
